Lorena Sandoval Campaña is a Pure Chemist graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the Central University of Ecuador, Master in Phytotherapy from the University of Barcelona Spain and Specialist in Innovation and Technology Transfer at the University of Alicante. Lorena is an expert in patents, strategic analysis of inventions and innovations, has experience in the development of innovative products, with successful cases of innovative products generated, which are marketed in Ecuador and the United States.
Lorena has experience as a patent examiner for more than 12 years at the Intellectual Property Office of Ecuador, in the areas of Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, among others, being trained in seminars, workshops, courses organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization, European Patent Office, American Intellectual Property Office, etc.
As part of her professional experience Lorena has advised researchers, companies and innovators with patent protection strategies, patent drafting and strategic intelligence analysis to enhance intangible assets and accompany them with adequate protection mechanisms.
