Melissa Torres has been part of our Spingarn team since 2018. Heading our corporate team composed of highly skilled professionals, Melissa brings extensive experience in the management of corporate, municipal and domain transfer processes in general.

Within her practice area, Melissa has successfully managed a variety of processes related to corporate matters, such as mergers, spin-offs, capital increases and appeals before the Superintendence of Companies. She is also an expert in corporate negotiations and has in-depth knowledge of labor and immigration issues.

Prior to joining Spingarn, Melissa gained invaluable experience during her internships in the corporate and labor area at one of the most renowned firms in Ecuador. She also played a crucial role in the tax area at a prestigious firm and excelled as an in-house lawyer at a leading oil company, providing expert advice on labor and corporate matters.
