Melissa Hidalgo

Melissa Hidalgo is an Associate at Spingarn and part of the firm's Aviation and Airport Law team. Melissa has experience advising domestic and foreign airlines in obtaining operating permits, as well as opening foreign branches and handling corporate, customs, tax and other matters related to the aviation industry.

Her practice also specializes in regulatory matters for the tourism and hospitality industry in Ecuador. Melissa gained work experience as a paralegal in the area of Aviation, Mobility and Tourism in a regional law firm. Additionally, she has experience in Corporate and Customs law as she worked as a paralegal in several law firms with specialized practice in those areas. Finally, she practiced at the Provincial Court of Justice of Pichincha advising the Specialized Civil and Commercial Court and the Specialized Labor Court.
