Diego Armas

Diego Armas is a Partner at Spingarn, he is part of the Tax and Corporate Unit, in which he concentrates his professional practice. Diego has extensive experience in negotiation processes, legal consulting, sponsorship in legal proceedings, advice on the management of the labor relationship, and compliance with obligations before the control entities.

In tax matters: handling of administrative claims processes, administrative review appeals, judicial review processes, advice on assessment processes, advice on tax matters, risk and contingency assessment, tax planning and tax efficiency instruments, application of double taxation treaties.

In the Corporate area: advising in start up processes, corporate and equity structuring, merger and acquisitions, transformations, acquisitions, takeover processes and corporate auditing. Diego has more than 18 years of professional experience, working as a consultant in the Tax Division at Ernst & Young. He currently advises several important economic groups in Ecuador.
