Lorena is the Director of the Personal Data Protection and Digital Law Division at Spingarn.

She is a lawyer with over 20 years of experience in this area. She is a Cum Laude Graduate from a PhD Programme at Universidad de Olavide, in Spain.

Lorena was the author of the Personal Data Protection Law Project in Ecuador, and was leader to its approval process at the Ecuadorian National Assembly as well as its implementation at the Public Records National System, where she was Director.

She has performed as investigator, consultant, representant, judicial assessor and lead implementor of personal data protection models both to national and international corporations. She is also member of IAPP, University Professor and international speaker.
